It's about time I put up my two cents. I am not what you would call a Nevada "fan." Put them up next to, let's say, BYU, and you know who I would root for.
But if you think about it, the moment I begin to want Nevada to win anything, I will immediately be labeled a "fair-weather fan." That is just how these things work. And although Nevada is now 10th in the ESPN rankings, BYU did get 31 votes. Booyah! Can I get a "Go Cougars!"? And if the Cougs continue to destroy all challengers from the MWC (9-2) is there a chance might face each other in some future tournament?
Please do not be alarmed, Jill and I have been discussing the possibility and have made arrangements to continue our marriage regardless of the outcome of said matchup.
