Partying Hard at Chuck E Cheese

We surprised Kate (and the other girls) by taking them to Chuck E Cheese for dinner and playtime. They were so excited when we pulled up. I love surprises.

Kate opening presents was pretty entertaining. She was more interested in how many presents she got, rather than what the presents actually were. We got her a little digital camera (so she would leave mine alone) and she just said, "oh, a camera" and moved on.

I didn't quite catch the look of crazed excitement on Kate's face when she crawled up to this little part and looked down and saw us. Let's just say I'm surprised she didn't wet her pants with excitement.

Cambri has started to get into video games and is actually pretty good. Especially considering the fact that we do not own a single gaming system of any kind. Unless you count the Leapster. Then we own two. Cambri is also starting to understand more jokes, which makes me laugh.

Haley loved riding all the little rides they have there. She thought she was pretty amazing when she started standing on the rides as they were moving.

It was like pulling teeth to get them to sit down for presents and pie, let alone getting them to eat the nasty pizza. Lesson learned--do not eat dinner there or bring presents or dessert. It will not be appreciated. At all.

I love the way you tell stories, they are so funny! Thanks for the tips on Chucky Cheese, it is always helpful to go someplace with realistic expectations.
