Lost Privileges

Last week Cambri slept in her bed every night and did really well in it--that is until around 5 in the morning when she would come into our room still completely tired. After a week of her not getting the amount of she sleep she needs and us getting tired of waking up that early, we have decided to revoke her big girl bed privileges until further notice.

We have also been trying to talk about the upcoming baby more in attempt to create less shock when she actually does arrive. Cambri knows that there's a baby in my belly, but she also thinks there's a baby in EVERYBODY'S belly--especially hers and Adam's. So that didn't work out as we had planned, but it did give us something to laugh about.

Her new favorite thing to say is a simple, "yeah." But she says it in so many different tones that it cracks us up. She'll say it like she's not sure that's the answer she wants to give, like she's super excited, as if she's reaffirming that you gave the correct answer, and so many other different ways. Last night she was talking to her Grandpa Roderick on the phone and he must've been asking her a lot of questions because she kept responding with a "yeah," but they were all said so differently. I would LOVE to know what is going on in that little mind of hers.

She was also taking a trip down memory lane on our way to church. She kept saying, "Randell, Papa (her version of Grandpa)." Not quite sure what she was thinking about, but we were amazed that she still remembers Randell (he left on his mission almost two months ago). Then when we got to church she kept saying, "Church, fun, play." At least at this point in her life she likes church--at least the nursery part of it!

Our personal choice of method for keeping Hyrum in his toddler bed is to baracade the entrance. As a result, he doesn't get up unti we do and only when we get him out;).
